Malt Protocol V3 Launch

Algorithmic stablecoin on Polygon; the protocol first began ~2021 and this is the latest iteration.

DETAILS

• There is a whitelist, it appears those on the whitelist will be able to pre-purchase MALT so it is ready for staking right at protocol launch (and not face any fluctuating prices)
• Users of V1 or V2 Malt Protocol will have some allocation in this V3 launch
• MALT is the algo-stable, pegged to $1
• When MALT > $1, users can participate in an auction to buy MALT at a discount. If futher price support is needed, contracts sell a portion of the protocol-owned MALT, and new MALT is minted and sold to the AMM
• When MALT < $1, contracts buy MALT from the AMM, and new MALT is burnt
• Provide liquidity and receive rewards in the same token the LP provided liquidity against (i.e. MATIC)
