August 19 update – there was an issue with the Compound VDC contract, and the team will be redeploying the dApp and token contracts.

Hypermine is releasing “virtual deposit contracts,” aka VDCs, for users to earn xYIELD in anticipation of the upcoming farm & InfiniteX ROI contract, which will both use xYIELD.

Two programs available:
- Compound VDC
  - 11% deposit and 11% withdrawal fee
    - 7% to drip pool
    - 1% instant dividends to stakers
    - 1% to burn
    - 1% to Volatile VDC
    - Receives daily BUSD dividends from HMINE staking
- Volatile VDC
  - 33% deposit and 33% withdrawal fee
    - 30% to the drip pool
    - 1% instant dividends to stakers
    - 1% to HMINE Bankroll
    - 1% to burn
    - No BUSD dividends (instead it receives the 1% of all Compound VDC deposits)
