January 14 update – Teravit has issued an additional statement here:

January 12 update – We asked Metalovil for any proof/evidence that they did in fact purchase rights to the game and/or artwork. They said they would send said evidence, but as of yet, they have not done so. Meanwhile, Teravit has responded to inquiries re: Metalovil using identical trailers / artwork:

January 10 update – Metalovil is using the same trailers (example here and here) as an upcoming Steam game called Teravit. Teravit’s content was uploaded in October, while MetaLovil’s was uploaded in the last week or two.

Within the Teravit Discord, users have asked about the idential trailers, but officials from Teravit have not responded as to whether the content is licensed to Metalovel yet. I’ve asked via Twitter as well, but no response.

Metalovil says they purchased rights to the game and the same team is developing Metalovil as Teravit.
